...FIRST SIGNIFICANT WINTER STORM TO IMPACT NORTHERN WISCONSIN...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of an inch or two, with isolated amounts of 3 inches possible. Northwest winds gusting to 50 mph, resulting in blowing and drifting snow.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and northeast Wisconsin.

* WHEN...From 9 AM to 6 PM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Wednesday afternoon commute, and travel across the region. Isolated power outages are possible.
