Westernport Tree Lighting
Westernport Tree Lighting 
The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting event will be held tonight. Festivities begin at 5:30, and the blessing of the tree and Tree Lighting will be held at 6:00. Main Street will be closed from Port West to Oakview Drive. Washington Street will be closed. Please drive cautiously around the children and horses.
- Organizations will be set up in the parking lot in front of M&T Bank to give out various treats.
- Letters to Santa and various activities at the Fire Station.
- Meet and greet with characters throughout the night.
- Sleigh Rides and pony rides on Main Street
- Western Maryland Railway Station Museum will be open at 5:00
- Visit with Santa in Town Hall
