Re: Magoun Ave. from Lewis Pl to 145th St. (NO PARKING)

Starting December 1st, a project to replace aging sewer and water lines on Magoun Ave from Lewis Pl to 145th St. will begin. This project will consist of new sewers, water lines, and concrete walks, curb, & asphalt restoration.

This notice is specifically about parking. Starting December 1st, we will be placing no parking signs and begin removing pavement. Residents will need to find alternative parking for the next couple of months. Any cars still parked on the street on the morning of Tuesday, December 2nd will be towed at the owner’s expense. Magoun Ave will be closed to thru traffic and parking (except for emergency vehicles). The construction crews will work approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We will notify you prior to working on something in the street that could affect you, such as water service hookups.

Re: Magoun Ave. desde Lewis Pl hasta la calle 145. (PROHIBIDO ESTACIONAR)

A partir del 1 de diciembre, comenzará un proyecto para reemplazar las antiguas tuberías de agua y alcantarillado en la avenida Magoun, desde Lewis Pl hasta la calle 145. Este proyecto consistirá en nuevas tuberías de alcantarillado y agua, así como en la restauración de aceras, bordillos y asfalto.

Este aviso es específicamente sobre el estacionamiento. A partir del 1 de diciembre, colocaremos señales de no estacionar y comenzaremos a retirar el pavimento. Los residentes necesitarán encontrar estacionamiento alternativo durante los próximos meses. Cualquier coche que siga estacionado en la calle en la mañana del martes 2 de diciembre será remolcado a expensas del propietario. La avenida Magoun estará cerrada al tráfico y al estacionamiento (excepto para vehículos de emergencia). Los equipos de construcción trabajarán aproximadamente de 7:00 a.m. a 5:00 p.m., de lunes a viernes. Le notificaremos antes de trabajar en alguna parte de la calle que pudiera afectarle, como las conexiones de servicio de agua.
