Elevated Fire Danger 
We have elevated fire danger in Broad River area due to winds. Outdoor burning is highly discouraged. Use caution disposing of fireplace ashes. If you have renters please make them aware. Despite the recent precipitation surface fuels will dry quickly and outdoor fires can quickly become uncontrollable due to the wind. Wow, there is not a current burn ban in place. Please use common sense. It is up to each individual to ensure burning is allowed the day they plan to do it.
