On November 27, 2025, at approximately 0210 hours, the Simi Valley Police Department responded to Los Angeles Avenue east of Runway Street reference a single vehicle collision involving a motorcyclist.  Upon arrival, officers located a male (61-year-old male, Los Angeles County resident), who had been driving the motorcycle, laying in the field area to the south side of Los Angeles Avenue. Ventura County Fire Department personnel responded and ultimately pronounced the motorcyclist deceased due to his injuries.

According to the initial information and preliminary investigation, it appears that the motorcycle, driven by the 61-year-old male, was traveling eastbound on Los Angeles Avenue near Angus Avenue when he lost control and crashed. Alcohol and speed appear to have been a factor in this collision.  The motorcycle sustained major damage because of the collision.  Identification of the driver will not be released at this time, pending notification to next of kin.
