Hit-and-run victim, age 11, dies of injuries

ESCONDIDO, California – The 11-year-old boy who was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the 400 block of East Washington Avenue on Nov. 26 died of his injuries in the hospital.
Police are continuing to investigate this crash, and are asking anyone with information leading to the identification of the driver to call Officer Paul Smyth at 760-839-4423.

ESCONDIDO, California – El niño de 11 años que fue atropellado por un conductor que se dio a la fuga en la cuadra 400 de East Washington Avenue el 26 de noviembre falleció a causa de sus heridas en el hospital.
La policía continúa investigando este accidente y solicita a cualquier persona que tenga información que pueda ayudar a identificar al conductor que se comunique con el agente Paul Smyth al 760-839-4423.
