Winter Storm Warning until 06:00AM Sunday 
...PROLONGED SNOWFALL EXPECTED TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT... .A winter storm is expected to move west to east across the Midwest tonight through Saturday night, bringing a prolonged period of light to moderate snowfall. Areas along and south of Interstate 90 are expected to receive at least 6 inches of snowfall with the highest amounts favored in northeast Iowa and far southwest Wisconsin, where 8 to 12 inches of snow are expected. Heaviest snowfall rates are expected Saturday afternoon over northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin, approaching 1 inch per hour at times. Snowfall tapers off west to east late Saturday night through Sunday morning. Winds will increase Saturday evening and a period of blowing snow may occur west of the Mississippi River.
