City of Yankton - Snow Emergency 
The City of Yankton has received enough snow that a snow emergency will be going into effect.
A snow emergency will go into effect at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Please remove vehicles from Snow Emergency Routes until this snow event has passed and all plowing operations are completed. The City asks for your cooperation to please have your vehicles removed from city streets by this time. Vehicles left on Emergency Snow Routes will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
Crews will start plowing at 1:00 pm November 29, 2025
