...WINTER WEATHER IMPACTS CONTINUE THIS MORNING... .Light to moderate snow continues this morning with slippery travel and visibility impacts across the region. Breezy winds of 20 to 35 mph will lead to periods of blowing snow, especially west of the Mississippi River, resulting in further reductions to visibility at times. Light snowfall and breezy winds linger into the late morning and will prolong the already difficult travel conditions, primarily for areas along and south of Interstate 90. Snowfall and winds begin to diminish from west to east by the afternoon as the winter storm moves out of the region.

* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Minnesota and central, southwest, and west central Wisconsin.

* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 6 AM CST early this morning. For the Winter Weather Advisory, from 6 AM this morning to noon CST today.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions.
