Special Weather Statement until 10:30AM 
A storm system is making its way across Northeastern Nevada this morning. As of 715 AM PST, the Nevada Department of Transportation road cameras were showing light surface accumulations of snow on State Route 229 in Ruby Valley, on State Route 278 south of Carlin, and on US Highway 93 near Lages Junction in White Pine county. Snow showers will expand across much of east-central Nevada for the rest of this morning, with many additional locations and common roadways seeing impactful, though light, snow accumulation. Travelers are urged to use caution and reduce speeds when encountering snow covered roads this morning. Snow showers will taper off later this morning and afternoon.
