Areas of patchy dense fog have developed across most of the South Carolina Upstate and some parts of the North Carolina Piedmont along Interstate 85. Visibility below 1 mile, and as low as 1/4 mile, is reported at multiple observing sites across these areas. Expect fog to continue for the next several hours, possibly until rush hour. Visibility may drop suddenly and over short distances. If driving, increase your following distance and turn on your low-beam headlights.
