SUSPECT(S): Gabriel Henry Garavito, 37-year-old resident of Moreno Valley

SUMMARY: On Monday, November 24, 2025, deputies from the Fontana Sheriff's Station responded to a 9-1-1 call for service at a residence located in the 18700 block of 3rd Street, in Bloomington, involving a domestic violence incident. The caller reported seeing an unwanted Hispanic male adult in front of the residence under the influence of alcohol bothering a female who resided there.

Deputy Rodriguez responded with additional deputies and contacted the subject, later identified as Gabriel Henry Garavito. Garavito was located in a parked vehicle with a female in the passenger seat being evasive and uncooperative in front of the residence.

As Rodriguez spoke to Garavito, he observed narcotic paraphernalia in plain view and removed Garavito from the vehicle and detained him. Garavito was also discovered to have an un-serialized, compact AR-15 style assault rifle with a high-capacity magazine, a large amount of various types of narcotics, a large amount of cash and packaging equipment indicative of narcotic sales, also in plain view.

Garavito provided Rodriguez with a false name and was identified by his thumb print and use of a sheriff's database. He was discovered to be a convicted felon and subsequently arrested for the above felony charges. Garavito was transported to West Valley Detention Center and booked without further incident.
