Happy National Christmas Light Day!
West Springfield Launches Interactive Holiday Light Map to Celebrate National Christmas Lights Day
Residents Encouraged to Showcase Their Holiday Spirit and Festive Displays Across the Community
WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA — It’s beginning to look a lot like West Side cheer! In celebration of National Christmas Lights Day, the Town of West Springfield invites residents to share their creativity and community spirit by submitting their holiday light displays to the 2025 West Side Holiday Light Map — an interactive guide to the most festive homes and holiday happenings across town.
From dazzling light shows and colorful inflatables to cozy front-porch decorations, residents are encouraged to showcase how they “sleigh” the season. The map not only highlights local homes, but also features a new addition this year: a Holiday Happenings Guide listing parades, community events, and festive activities throughout West Springfield.
“West Side residents always go above and beyond to spread joy this time of year,” said Mayor Will Reichelt. “Our Holiday Light Map has become a tradition that brings people together, celebrates creativity, and helps neighbors discover the magic happening right in their own community.”
