Request for Public Assistance – Ongoing Death Investigation 
For Immediate Release: December 1, 2025
On Sunday, November 30, 2025, at approximately 6:00 PM, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call reporting a person lying on the shoulder of the roadway in the area of S. Shore Road near Iowa Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased adult male with visible signs of trauma.
The incident is currently under investigation by the Absecon Police Department, in coordination with the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Both agencies are requesting the public’s assistance. If you have any information regarding this incident, or if you were in the area and may have seen anything suspicious, please contact the Absecon Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at (609) 641-0667 ext. 214.
