INCIDENT: Community Safety Operations (Traffic Enforcement)
LOCATION: Colorado River Station / Needles Police
SUMMARY:
The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors provided several sheriff's stations throughout the county with additional funding to address traffic-related events and traffic enforcement in their respective areas of operation.
During November, the Colorado River Sheriff's Station conducted three traffic enforcement operations in and around the city of Needles.
During November's operations, deputies conducted 31 enforcement stops, resulting in 27 citations. The citations were for various vehicle code violations, including but not limited to; speeding, seatbelt, and equipment violations. More traffic enforcement operations are planned in the future.
