1. Carjacking (0642) 400 Block of East Hazelton Avenue, Seaport District
The male victim, 43, left his vehicle running while he went inside to retrieve his clothes. When he returned, he saw one suspect in the driver’s seat. As he tried to open the car door, another suspect pushed him and fled in his vehicle. SUSPECTS: Two Black or Hispanic adult males.
2. Pursuit Arrest (1307) Blue Ridge Circle and Herndon Place, Lakeview District
Officers were in the listed area and attempted an enforcement stop on a vehicle, when the driver failed to yield, leading officers on a short pursuit. The driver was taken into custody after he walked away and abandoned the car. ARRESTED: Montel Armstrong, 24, for assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment, and evading charges.
3. Weapons Arrest (1400) El Dorado Street and Lincoln Street, Lakeview District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Officers searched the car and found a loaded handgun. The driver was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Marzell Finister, 30, for weapons violations.
