Byram Township is seeking a qualified part-time (8 hours per week) UCC-licensed Fire Protection Subcode Official to perform plan review and inspections for compliance with the NJ Uniform Construction Code (UCC) and Fire Protection Subcode - flexible PT hours. Responsibilities include reviewing construction plans, conducting field inspections, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid NJ DCA Fire Protection Subcode Official License
• Valid NJ DCA Fire Protection Inspector License (HHS preferred)
• Knowledge of NJ UCC regulations and Fire Protection standards
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other subcode officials and staff
• The salary is $45.00 per hour. There are no health benefits with this position.
