Wilmington Police arrest two male juveniles in connection with attempted vehicle theft: 
Wilmington Police have arrested two male juveniles in connection with an attempted vehicle theft.
On November 26th, at approximately 10:57 a.m., members of the Uniformed Service Division responded to West 6th and North Union Streets, in reference to an attempted vehicle theft incident. Police made contact with the reporting person, who stated that two male juveniles had attempted to steal a vehicle in the 200 block of Rodman Street. The reporting person followed the juveniles and was able to detain one of them. The second juvenile fled southbound. Police then took the first 12-year-old juvenile into custody without incident.
Assisting units subsequently located the second 12-year-old juvenile in the area of West 5th and North Union Streets and took him into custody without incident.
Further investigation revealed that both juveniles had also been in the 300 block North Bancroft Parkway where they attempted to steal a second vehicle.
The first 12-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of Burglary Tools
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
The second 12-year-old juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Attempted to commit Theft of a motor vehicle- Two Counts
- Criminal Mischief over $1,000 but less than $5,000- Two Counts
