Community Notice: Garbage Can Update

The Hackensack DPW is here to help keep our city clean!

We keep 95-gallon garbage cans in stock to replace broken or damaged cans that can't be serviced by the garbage truck.

Here's how it works:

• If DPW staff report a damaged can, we replace it within the same week.
• If a resident reports a broken can, we'll inspect it and replace it if needed.

Please note: We cannot replace all resident cans, only those that are broken or unusable.
