INCIDENT: PC 245(A)(1) - Assault with a Deadly Weapon (Not a Firearm)
PC 273.5(A) - Felony Spousal Abuse
LOCATION: 900 block of E Broadway Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Trisha Pogue, 66-years-old, Resident of Needles
VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at approximately 9:28 a.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 900 block of E Broadway Street regarding an assault.
When deputies arrived on scene, they met with the victim who had injuries conclusive with an assault. The victim reported the suspect had sprayed an aerosol type spray in his face and threatened him with a knife. A witness at the location confirmed observing Trisha Pogue strike the victim.
During the investigation, deputies determine Pogue did strike the victim and used the spray. As a result, Pogue was arrested on the above-mentioned charges and booked at the Colorado River Station jail. Pogue remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
