* WHAT...Blowing snow expected. Visibilities reduced to one half mile or less due to blowing snow. Total snow accumulations up to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE...Alaska Peninsula from Port Heiden south.
* WHEN...From noon Saturday to 9 AM AKST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow showers will develop on Saturday afternoon along the central Alaska Peninsula and spread south along the peninsula through Saturday night. The worst visibilities are expected near Port Heiden. Visibility will improve northeast to southwest on Sunday morning as snowfall rates and winds diminish.
