Fire Weather Watch until 10:00PM Sunday
...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED IN NORTHEASTERN MINNESOTA AND POSSIBLE IN NORTHWESTERN WISCONSIN SUNDAY... .Breezy south-southwesterly to southerly winds gusting to 25 to 30 mph Sunday along with relative humidity values as low as 15 percent will lead to critical fire weather conditions across northeastern Minnesota late Sunday morning into Sunday evening. For northwest Wisconsin, relative humidity of 20 to 25 percent combined with the gusty winds may lead to critical fire weather conditions Sunday afternoon into evening. RH values will improve late Sunday evening as the air near the ground begins to cool around and after sunset. The National Weather Service in Duluth has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Sunday afternoon through Sunday evening.
