On Wednesday December 3rd, 2025 at 8:06 PM, Corcoran Police Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Sherman Ave. for a report of juveniles using suspected drugs in the alley behind a residence. Officers arrived on scene and several subjects ran from a parked vehicle blocking the roadway. Officers searched the vehicle and located a loaded Glock 22 Pistol concealed underneath the driver’s seat. An investigation was conducted and Jonathan Mata (19) of Lemoore was identified as the person in possession of the loaded firearm. Mata was placed under arrest on Thursday December 4th, 2025.
