M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation will begin a major aquatic renovation at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. During this first phase, the competition pool will be closed for about one year. The Leisure Pool will remain open, and some programs will be relocated there, including learn-to-swim classes, water walking, water fitness, and lap swimming. 

This two-year project will upgrade pool systems, renovate the pool and deck, improve family changing rooms, and enhance accessibility, ensuring a better experience for all patrons. 

We encourage residents to use our other indoor pools for additional programs: 

• Allentown Splash Park – Fort Washington 

• Fairland Sports & Aquatics Complex – Laurel 

• Rollingcrest-Chillum Splash Pool – Hyattsville 

• Southern Area Aquatics & Recreation Complex – Brandywine 

• Southern Regional Aquatic Wellness Center – Fort Washington 

• Theresa Banks Memorial Aquatic Center – Glenarden
