WEATHER STATEMENT

* A Salting Event Tonight * Threat Time: Friday 6:00 PM - Saturday 10:00 AM Non issue drizzle lingers past 10 AM

After some non issue flurries this afternoon / evening we turn our     attention to tonight’s system which should not be taken lightly. Low level moisture will increase after sunset, allowing areas of freezing drizzle to begin to develop, peaking towards midnight and into the predawn. Despite the light nature, we have sufficient cold temps in place, so areas of freezing drizzle will quickly lead to a glaze of ice on untreated surfaces. While not as concerning, we could see some brief light snow mix in during the evening. By tomorrow morning, temperatures and pavements likely warm above the freezing mark mid morning, putting an end to the risk with just some non issue drizzle lingering thereafter.
