Advisory: 2025 Santa Parade & Christmas Tree Lighting
Road Closures and Detours Friday, December 5, 2025

The Hawthorne Police Department Traffic Bureau would like to advise residents and motorists of scheduled road closures and traffic detours for the 2025 Santa Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting. These temporary changes are necessary to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators.
Please review the following roadway impacts:
1. Lafayette Avenue at Diamond Bridge Avenue Closure
Northbound traffic will be detoured via:

Diamond Bridge Avenue (westbound)

Goffle Road (northbound)

Rea Avenue (eastbound)

Lafayette Avenue (northbound)
2. Lafayette Avenue at Rea Avenue Closure
Southbound traffic will be redirected via:

Rea Avenue (westbound)

Goffle Road (southbound)

Diamond Bridge Avenue (eastbound)

Lafayette Avenue (southbound)
3. Warburton Avenue at Grand Avenue Closure
Westbound traffic will be directed to:

Royal Avenue (southbound)

Diamond Bridge Avenue (westbound)

Lafayette Avenue (southbound)
4. Warburton Avenue at Goffle Road Closure
Warburton Avenue will be closed at Goffle Road.

Goffle Road northbound: Redirected to Lafayette Avenue northbound at Rea Avenue

Goffle Road southbound: Redirected to Lafayette Avenue southbound at Diamond Bridge Avenue
5. Central Avenue at Royal Avenue Closure
Westbound traffic will follow:

Royal Avenue (southbound)

Diamond Bridge Avenue (westbound)
6. Royal Avenue at Warburton Avenue Closure
Northbound traffic will be routed to:

Warburton Avenue (eastbound) → Forest Avenue (northbound)
