Green Bay Police Seek Information in Multiple Crash Incident on I-41; Dashcam/Video Footage Sought from Witnesses
The Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) is seeking information and any dashcam or video footage as it investigates the cause of what appears to be a chain reaction of crashes on I-41.
On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, officers were dispatched just before 5:15 p.m. to northbound I-41 between Lombardi Avenue and West Mason Street exits for the traffic incident.
A 22-year-old Howard woman, who was driving one of the vehicles involved, remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries as a result.
As of recent, officers learned that a dark-colored sedan may have been traveling erratically across all lanes of traffic—causing some drivers to brake abruptly, which led to multiple crashes.
We are asking anyone who may have been driving through the area at the time of this incident and may have evidence of a vehicle fitting in with this description to contact us.
