Victorville Man Arrested after Evading Police and Crashing into a Vehicle, Injuring Two People

SUMMARY: On Saturday, November 29, 2025, at approximately 8:10 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Station responded to a stolen vehicle report in the 15000 block of Palmdale Road, Victorville. It was determined a 2025 Nissan Sentra had been stolen from the parking lot during the early morning hours of November 29, 2025.
At approximately 11:21 a.m., Victorville Police located the stolen 2025 Nissan Sentra near the intersection of Seventh Street and La Paz Drive, Victorville. The driver of the vehicle, Adam Rodriguez, immediately fled from deputies at a high rate of speed.
Rodriguez fled for approximately three miles and was involved in a crash at the intersection of Palmdale Road and El Evado Road. He was detained at the crash site without incident. As a result of the crash, two occupants in the vehicle Rodriguez collided with sustained injuries. They were transported to a local trauma center for treatment and have since been released.
Rodriguez was found to be on parole in the state of California for Penal Code 215(a) - Carjacking. The Victorville Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Team responded to the crash site and took over the investigation. It was determined Rodriguez was under the influence of narcotics at the time of the crash.
Rodriguez was arrested on multiple charges, including California Penal Code 496d(a) - Possession of a Stolen Vehicle; California Vehicle Code 2800.2(a) - Felony Evading; California Vehicle Code 2800.3(a) - Felony Evading Causing Injury; California Vehicle Code 2800.4 - Felony Evading on the Wrong Side of the Roadway; California Vehicle Code 23153(f) - Felony Driving Under the Influence of Narcotics; and California Penal Code 3056 - Parole Violation. Rodriguez is currently in custody at the High Desert Detention Center without bail.
