One man arrested in fatal crash from last night on SE 10th.

**update December 5, 2025, 4:30PM-The suspect in this fatal crash is identified as Marcos Ramirez-Ramirez, male, age 35. He was released from the hospital and booked into the Potter County jail for 1 count of intoxication manslaughter-2nd degree Felony, 1 count accident-causing bodily injury/death-2nd degree Felony, and 3 counts of intoxication assault Serious bodily injury-3rd degree Felony. His bond was set at $2million dollars.

On December 4th, 2025, at approximately 11:08PM, Officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of SE 10th on a major crash involving a Ford F-150 pickup and a Chevrolet Lumina. On arrival, Officers discovered the Ford F-150 had been traveling Eastbound in the westbound lanes of SE 10th, and the Chevrolet Lumina was Westbound. The vehicles had a head-on collision. The driver of the Ford left the scene on foot and was later located in the south alley of the 3800 block of SE 10th. The Chevrolet Lumina was occupied by 4 individuals. All 4 individuals were transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. One passenger in the Lumina died at the hospital because of injuries sustained in the crash. The decedent has not been positively identified at this time and Next of Kin has not been notified. The driver of the Ford F-150 was transported to an area hospital and admitted. Potter County JP Debbie Horn was notified and ordered an autopsy. Alcohol is believed to be factor. The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department.
