Special Weather Statement until 10:00AM 
Areas of dense fog, reducing visibility to 1/2 mile or less, will impact portions of the northern Foothills and Northwest Piedmont of North Carolina and the Upstate of South Carolina this morning. This includes areas along I-40 from Marion east to Mocksville and along I-85. If traveling in these areas, be prepared for reduced visibility. Slow down and use low beam headlights if fog is encountered. The fog is expected to dissipate by late morning.
