Full Notification

DCSO: This is an alert from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.  A section of Highway 97 is closed due to a fatality accident.  the affected area is HWY 97, between mile marker 219 and mile marker 218.  Southbound traffic is closed at the south entrance to Daroga Park.

Please use HWY 97A, US2 Pine Canyon or McNeil Canyon Rd while HWY 97 is closed.  The estimated time of closure is around 6 hours.  We will update as necessary, please go to the Douglas County Sheriff Facebook page for additional information.
