Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help identifying the suspect pictured below, who stole a package from the front porch of a residence on December 4, 2025.
At approximately 3:14 p.m., the suspect was captured on surveillance video taking the package from the home in the 60 block of Sanford Place. The suspect fled east on Sanford Place. He wore an orange and blue hat, a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and blue pants underneath, and orange and blue sneakers.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
