Wilmington Police have arrested an Elsmere man and recovered a stolen vehicle.

Beginning in October, members of the Traffic unit have been conducting an investigation into 22-year-old Rashawn Brown in reference to vehicle theft and related activities. On November 19^th Police located a stolen motor vehicle in the 1200 block of East 16^th Street. Police were able to obtain search warrants for Brown’s residence in Elsmere and a garage located in the 1400 block of Northeast Boulevard. After a thorough investigation Police were able to obtain warrants for Brown’s arrest. On December 2^nd Brown turned himself in at the Wilmington Police Department on his outstanding warrants.

Brown was charged with the following offenses:

• Receiving Stolen Property over $1,500
• Attempted Sale of Stolen Property over $1,500
