Traffic Stop Reveals Arizona Man in Possession of Suspected Narcotics and a Leaded Cane
DATE/TIME: December 5, 2025, at approximately 9:05 p.m.
INCIDENT: H&S 11377(A) - Possession of a Controlled Substance and PC 22210 - Possession of a Dangerous Weapon/Leaded Cane
LOCATION: W. Needles Hwy. and P Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Adolfo Lopez, 41 Years Old, Resident of Bullhead City, AZ
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Friday, December 5, 2025, at approximately 8:04 p.m., deputies contacted Adolfo Lopez during a traffic enforcement stop near W. Needles Hwy and P Street in the City of Needles. During the traffic stop, Lopez was found to be in violation of CVC 14601.1(A)- Driving on a Suspended License.
Lopez was asked to exit the vehicle at which time a small clear plastic bag containing suspected methamphetamine fell from his person into the driver's seat. Deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and also located a leaded cane, which is a felony in the state of California.
Lopez was consequently arrested on the above mentioned charges and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Lopez remains in custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $30,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
