Coastal Flood Advisory until 05:00PM Tuesday

* WHAT...Tidal overflow flooding expected.

* WHERE...Tillamook County Coast.

* WHEN...From Noon to 5 PM PST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding, up to one foot above ground level, during high tide is expected in the low lying areas near bays, sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While the Garibaldi tidal gauge is anticipated to only peak around 9.6 ft near 3 PM Tuesday, rivers flowing into the Nehalem and Tillamook Bays will be running unusually high. Despite rivers likely trending downward during this time, tidal overflow flooding may actually increase temporarily around high tide Tuesday afternoon.
