1. Trespassing/Resisting Arrest (1544) 00 Block of East Sonora Street, Seaport District
Officers responded to the area on a report of a subject trespassing and refusing to leave. Officers contacted the suspect, who appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance. When the officers tried to detain him, he resisted arrest. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Mark Peterson,
37, for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
2. Pursuit Arrest (2018) Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Stanislaus Street, Seaport District
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver failed to stop and led the officers on a short pursuit. When the car stopped, the driver and passenger tried to flee on foot. Force was used to take both suspects into custody. ARRESTED: A seventeen-year-old male was arrested for evading and resisting arrest. Nathaniel Mota, 20, was arrested for resisting arrest.
