NOTICE OF REFUSE (TRASH) RATE INCREASE
Effective January 2026
 
Dear Resident,
 
This letter is to inform you that the monthly residential refuse (trash) service rate for Village of Chama users will increase beginning January 2026. The current rate of $23.76 will be adjusted to $24.95 per month.
 
This increase is being imposed by the North Central Solid Waste Authority, and the Village of Chama is required to implement the updated rate accordingly.
 
We understand that any change in utility costs can be concerning, and we are committed to keeping our residents informed. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this adjustment, please contact the Village Clerk’s Office at 575-756-2184.
