Wilmington Police arrest a juvenile male in connection to a vehicle theft: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a juvenile male in connection to a vehicle theft.
On December 6th at approximately 6:50 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division attempted to conduct a vehicle stop in the area of West 24th and North Washington Streets for a traffic violation. The vehicle fled the area and was located moments later where it collided with an occupied vehicle in the area of W. 20th and North Washington Streets, and two juvenile males fled the area on foot. A short time later, police located one of the suspects, a 16-year-old male, in 2000 block of North Washington Street and he was taken into custody without further incident.
Further investigation revealed the suspect vehicle was stolen. Officers recovered a vehicle key that belonged to a second stolen vehicle. Assisting units also located a second stolen vehicle in the area of East 2nd and North Walnut Streets.
The 16-year-old juvenile male has been charged with the following offenses in addition to traffic citations:
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony
- Theft of a Motor Vehicle
- Disregarding a Police Officer’s Signal
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
