Wilmington Police arrest three male juveniles in connection to a carjacking incident:

 Wilmington Police have arrested three male juveniles in connection to a carjacking incident.

On December 6th at approximately 10:24 p.m. members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the area of West 28th and North Monroe Streets in reference to a carjacking that had just occurred. A short time later, officers located the vehicle occupied in the area of East 9th and North Lombard Streets, and attempted to conduct a vehicle stop. The vehicle then fled the area and was later located in the 300 block of East Lea Boulevard. Three male juveniles fled in the area on foot. Moments later all three juvenile males were located in the 300 block of East Lea Boulevard and taken into custody without further incident.

The 16-year-old male juvenile was charged with the following offenses in addition to traffic citations:

  • Robbery (First Degree)
  • Disregarding a Police Officer’s Signal
  • Possession of Burglar Tools
  • Conspiracy (Second Degree)
  • Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Family Court and was released on $25,000 secured bail.

The 17-year-old male juvenile was charged with the following offenses:
  • Robbery (First Degree)
  • Possession of Burglar Tools
  • Conspiracy (Second Degree)
  • Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Family Court and was released on $12,500 secured bail.

The 15-year-old male juvenile was charged with the following offenses:
  • Robbery (First Degree)
  • Possession of Burglar Tools
  • Conspiracy (Second Degree)
  • Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Family Court and was released on $12,500 secured bail.
