Tryon Christmas Parade will begin at 6:00 PM, starting from the intersection of New Market Rd & Whitney Ave and ending at Howard Street.

Please be advised that the Police Department will be placing No Parking signs along Trade Street (between Maple Street and Oak Street on the business side; see attached photo) for the duration of the Christmas Parade today. No parking will go into effect beginning at 5:30 PM. If you have vehicles parked in this area, we kindly ask that they be moved before that time. This area will be a designated viewing area for families in an attempt to help us keep children from running into the parade route and to ensure everyone stays safe.Thank you for your cooperation, and we appreciate your understanding as we prepare for this festive event.
 

After the parade, join us at the Tryon Firehouse (56 W. Howard Street) for a festive after-party with Santa! We’ll have:

• A balloon artist, games, and goodie bags for the kids
• Santa available for photos
• Do Not Lose Hope providing free food, t-shirts, cotton candy, and local artwork
• Big Brothers/Big Sisters serving hot chocolate and cider
