Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun charges following an investigation.
On December 7th at approximately 6:50 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 300 block of East 35th Street in reference to a road rage and aggravated menacing incident that had occurred in the unit block of Eastlawn Avenue. Officers made contact with the suspect, 31-year-old Leonard Watson, and took him into custody without incident.
Subsequently Officers recovered a loaded .380 handgun, a loaded .9mm handgun, a loaded short barreled AR-style rifle and brass knuckles.
Watson has been charged with the following offenses:
- Aggravated Menacing - Two Counts
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Manufactured Assault Weapon
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
