Keyes Man Arrested Following Special Victims Unit Investigation
On December 9, 2025, Jaspal Singh, a 36-year-old Indian male adult from Keyes, was arrested by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office Special Victim’s Unit for lewd acts with a child. The victim reported the abuse had been occurring over a prolonged period of time. On the day of the arrest, Singh had arranged to meet with the minor, and undercover detectives intercepted him in the parking lot of Pitman High School prior to the meeting taking place.
During an interview, Singh admitted to the allegations against him. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for violations including lewd acts with a child under fourteen years of age, communicating with a minor with the intent to commit a sex crime, and arranging a meeting with a minor for sexual purposes. Detectives with the Special Victim’s Unit requested a bail enhancement, and Singh is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.
