Argument Escalates into a Man Being Shot Twice in the Chest in the City of Hesperia

LOCATION: 12900 block of Palmetto Way, Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Unidentified black male
VICTIM(S): Adult Male
SUMMARY: On December 11, 2025, at 5:00 a.m., deputies from the Hesperia station responded to an incident involving a gun shot victim. The victim and the suspect, an unknown black male, were seated in front of a tent when an argument occurred. During the argument, the suspect was heard stating he wanted to shoot the victim. Seconds later, two gunshots were fired, striking the victim in the torso.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and later flown to a trauma center for further medical treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
