Alert
Past midnight is where steadier bands start to develop, and this should both cool things and help things cover quickly as we progress into the morning. This is the kind of snow that can also accumulate easily and can end up more fluffy than the heavier/wet variety. In all, a couple of inches and plowable operations are very likely before snow quickly tapers off mid to late morning.
Afterwards, clouds break to the sun, and winds turn gusty. Temperatures will also start cooling into the 20s before dropping well into the teens (single digit wind chills) Sunday night. With that, watch for post-storm refreeze.
