SUMMARY: Three Juveniles Violently Assault Neighbor
Twentynine Palms, CA – On Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Station responded to a report of an assault in the 6400 block of East Court Way, in the City of Twentynine Palms. According to preliminary information, the mother of a 15-year-old juvenile reported her child had been assaulted by a neighbor.
Deputies arrived on scene and contacted three juveniles, one of whom claimed to have been assaulted. During the initial investigation, deputies determined the juveniles’ account was fabricated to conceal the true nature of the incident. As the investigation progressed, deputies discovered a social media reel capturing the actual assault.
The video depicted two female juveniles and one male juvenile, violently attacking a man with an intellectual disability. The suspects forced entry into the victim’s apartment and assaulted him.
During the attack, one of the female juveniles armed herself with a large kitchen knife and repeatedly slashed at the victim’s arms and head. Throughout the assault, the victim plead for his life.
Before fleeing the apartment, one suspect attempted to ignite curtains inside the residence in an effort to start a fire. Due to a collaborative investigative effort, all suspects were immediately identified. Deputies obtained and executed search warrants for both the victim’s and suspects’ residences, and located evidence related to the violent assault. Deputies also recovered the knife used in the attack.
One of the female juveniles initially reported sustaining lacerations as a result of being assaulted; however, the investigation revealed her injuries were caused when she punched through the victim’s glass window. Both the victim and the injured suspect received medical treatment.
Due to their age, the suspects are being identified only as a 15-year-old Hispanic female, a 15-year-old Caucasian female, and a 15-year-old Black male, all of Twentynine Palms. The suspects were booked into the San Bernardino County Juvenile Detention Center on PC 245(a)(4) – Assault with a Deadly Weapon Causing Great Bodily Injury, PC 459 – Burglary, and PC 422 – Criminal Threats. Additional charges will be determined by the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.
