Driving Under the Influence - San Pablo Ave/ Manila Ave:
At 1:27 AM an oficer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle. The officer conducted a DUI investigation and pleaced the driver under arrest. The driver was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Driving Under the Influence - San Pablo Ave/ Moeser Ln:
At 6:49 PM, officers were investigating a non-injury collision when they noticed a vehicle rear ended another vehicle causing injury to the driver. During the investigation officers determined the driver of the first vehicle was under the influence of alcohol and placed him under arrest. After the driver was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department, he was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Felony Vandalism- 10350 San Pablo Ave (Guru Curry):
At 8:42 PM, officers were dispatched to the area for a suspect who threw a rock through a window of the victim’s business. An officer located the suspect several blocks away and detained him. The suspect was positively identified during an infield show-up and placed under Citizen’s Arrest. After booking, the suspect was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
November 11th
Residential burglary, possess other’s identifying Information and possession of drug paraphernalia – 6900 block of Blake St
At 8:43 am, Officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious persons walking around a currently uninhabited building. Officers located the suspect hiding in the backyard of the residence. The residence was found open and items from inside the residence were located outside. Items of identification not belonging to the suspect were located on their person along with drug parphernalia.
Vandalism – 11780 San Pablo Ave
At 12:41 pm, Officers were dispatched to a report of a vandalism. The victim reported their gas tank had been vandalized.
Assault – 6600 block of Liberty St
At 12:15 pm, Officers report the victim was assaulted.
November 12th
Warrant Arrest- 10900 San Pablo Ave:
At 8:54 am Officers arrested an individual with two outstanding warrants.
Vandalism – 11785 San Pablo Ave
At 1:15 pm, Officers report a suspect entered the establishment and damaged several items inside the establishment.
Identity theft – 3060 El Cerrito Plaza
At 1:09 pm, Officers report the victim’s personal information was used in an attempt to open a bank account.
Driving Under the Influence – Carlson Blvd / Panama Ave.
At 11:21 PM, officers arrested a driver for drunk driving. The subject was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and was later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
November 13th
Petty Theft – 2000 El Cerrito Plaza.
At 7:20 PM, the victim reported the theft of their electric scooter.
Grand Theft – 10650 San Pablo Ave.
At 7:26 PM, the victim reported their wallet had been stolen.
Shoplifting – 2000 El Cerrito Plaza.
At 9:02 PM, officers responded to a shoplifting in progress. The suspect fled prior to police arrival and was not located.
Drug Paraphernalia – San Pablo Ave / Central Ave.
At 12:29 AM, officers conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested the subject for possession of drug paraphernalia. The subject received a citation and was released.
November 14th
Vandalism - 1500 Block of Lexington Ave:
At 6:13 PM, an officer reports an unknown suspect caused damage to a telephone pole.
Theft with Priors - 2000 El Cerrito Plaza (Ross):
At 8:55 PM, officers were dispatched to the business for a suspect who had just exited the store with unpaid for merchandise. An officer located the suspect at the El Cerrito Plaza BART Station. The suspect was positively identified during an infield show-up and placed under arrest. An officer recognized the suspect as the same person who had stolen merchandise from the same business a day prior. After booking, the suspect was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
November 15th
Battery – 11511 San Pablo Ave (T-Mobile):
At 11:42 AM, an unidentified suspect spit on the manager and took a swing at him but missed.
Shoplift - 6000 El Cerrito Plaza (Marshalls):
At 7:41 PM, an officer reports an unknown suspect exited the store with a cart full of merchandise.
