At pproximately 00:15 am, officers were dispatched to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of West Morrison Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 32-year-old female who had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. She was transported to Marian Medical Center for treatment.
Officers contacted residents within the apartment complex where the shooting was reported to have occurred and conducted a sweep of an apartment believed to be associated with the incident. No additional victims were located.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
