On December 12, 2025, at 3:52 p.m. Deputies responded to a disturbance in the 7300 block of South 950 East near Mackey. Upon arriving deputies attempted to speak to all the parties involved in the incident, however one of the parties had left the scene. Upon locating the party, who was identified as 44-year-old Ashley Heck of Mackey, Deputy Wes Baumgart continued his investigation into the disturbance. During Deputy Baumgart’s investigation drug paraphernalia and illegal drugs were found on Ms. Heck. At that point she was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Detention Center where she was charged with Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamines, Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe, and Possession of a Legend Drug.
Deputies Eric Powell and Fred Schleter assisted Deputy Baumgart in his investigation.
