With a significant winter storm imminent Monroeville Public Works is fully prepared and requests that you help us maximize our snow removal efficiency by getting parked cars off the road now so they are not in the way of plows, minimize travel during the storm, and don't shovel snow from your driveway/ sidewalks onto roads.
Your patience is appreciated. During higher intensity snowfall periods residential streets will be lower priority than main roads and hills and may become snow-covered. Be patient, as intensity decreases we will get all roads cleared as quickly as possible.
When shoveling your driveway where it meets the road place snow on the right side (looking from your home) to minimize plows pushing the snow back into your driveway.
