* WHAT...Snow expected. An additional 1 to 3 inches of snow is possible this afternoon, with the highest amounts near and south of US Route 24. Hazardous travel conditions due to the combination of falling snow and cold temperatures expected.

* WHERE...In Illinois, Livingston, Ford, and Iroquois Counties. In Indiana, Benton County.

* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST /7 PM EST/ this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Temperatures in the lower teens will make snow removal efforts difficult. Wind gusts to 25 mph tonight may cause snow to drift back onto roadways.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LIVINGSTON ... IROQUOIS ... FORD ... BENTON
